Friday nights with the North Cobb Marching Band (NCMB) turn out loud, hectic and full of excitement. From the stands to the field, the game never falls silent and energy drives each moment, leaving each game unforgettable. The atmosphere surrounding the NCMB defines the spirit of the night and sets the tone of the game.

Amidst her final year on the NCXC team, magnet senior Kennedi Tolbert reflects on her final meets. Inspired by her friend Grade Amah, Tolbert joined the cross country team her freshman year and has since bloomed as a runner by increasing her endurance and speed. As she finishes out the 2026 season, Tobert hopes to leave a lasting impact on the NCXC team.

November 11, 2025, the NC Warrior men’s basketball team faced off against the Harrison High School Hoyas in a thrilling four-quarter bout. With fans in attendance and the scorecards at the ready, the season finally tipped off in NC’s arena. Despite the one-point loss, the squad displayed extensive hustle and effort.

Each year, the ocean temperatures break record highs, affecting the way fish and other marine animals grow, reproduce and feed. The increasing temperatures also cause significant issues for aquatic habitats, specifically coral bleaching. The need for awareness around climate change increases as time passes, and represents a critical step in combating global warming as a whole.

Once a worker knows how to file their taxes, the ugly memory of all the money he or she cannot spend haunts their wallet. By understanding where each dime finds its home, that wound might begin to heal. As the death toll rises, the people of the Gaza Strip and the world wonder what it will take to stop the conflict between the Palestinian military group Hamas and the Israeli government. A major humanitarian crisis — partially caused by the violence in residential areas — persists as one of the worst in modern history. As the war drags on, healthcare workers continue to risk their lives providing vital aid to those in desperate need and show the world that even in the face of immense danger and destruction, human compassion and empathy can endure.
