Which Scary Movie Are You Based On Your AP Class?
Sloane Moore, Reporter
October 20, 2025
Watching a horror movie late at night creates a chilling feeling — and nothing fosters a greater fear than the thought of an Advanced Placement (AP) test in the morning. Whether it involves math, science, English, or social studies, that deep-rooted, almost primal fear sends a chill when the thought of last week’s vocab quiz overwhelms the thoughts of a tired, worn-out student. These feelings of spine-chilling dread, frequently associated with horror and AP classes, work hand in hand, allowing the participants of this quiz to dive deeper into the spooky world of high school academics.

About the Contributor
Sloane Moore, Reporter
As her first year on The Chant unfolds, magnet sophomore Sloane Moore embraces this time as a new beginning. Although Moore wasn’t a fan of literature or writing in elementary school, Moore discovered her love of reading and journalism in her later years of middle school and recent years at NC. In school, Moore’s favorite subjects include math, social studies and chemistry. Outside of academics, Moore enjoys playing piano, running cross country and watching horror movies with her siblings. When time allows, Moore also likes to spend her time cooking and baking, and often makes dinner and desserts for her family. Moore looks forward to reporting for The Chant and getting to know the North Cobb community better during the 2025-2026 school year.
