The Chant staff received a silver crown from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association last Friday, a prestigious honor. NC was one of 10 to be considered for the award out of thousands of applicants. “I’m so incredibly proud of our staff and what they’ve been able to accomplish in… less than a semester,” said Newspaper adviser Ms. Kovel. “I think all of the ridiculously hard work and time and effort that everyone put into creating dynamic stories…has made such a difference, and I know all of my students must be incredibly proud of themselves for all of that hard work.”
