Addie Hill, Lead Page and Media Team Liaison

Advancing into her second year on The Chant, Addie Hill’s love for writing has only grown. Now serving as the Page Lead and Media Team Liaison, Hill hopes to expand her abilities as a writer, communicator and editor, all while still striving to reach her main goal for this year: worshiping Jesus. As co-leader of NC’s Collective Hope Bible Study Club and attendee of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Hill aims to spread God’s love through writing. Outside of reporting, Hill loves to dance, listen to indie-folk music, read, crochet, spend time with her family and friends, and attend church. 

She cannot wait to finish her final chapter at NC by reporting for the school’s publication, and she strives to write for a newspaper in college and beyond!

To promote local authors and provide Cobb County’s readers with an unforgettable memory, the North Cobb Regional Library hosted an author visit September 14. New York Times Bestselling author Rebecca Ross and upcoming author Jill Tew spoke to fans about their novels and characters. The event also allowed attendees to receive a signed copy of the authors’ books and ask any questions.

After the magnet Class of 2025’s junior trip to various countries in Europe, the program decided to travel again with the tenth and eleventh graders. However, this trip differed from international travels from years past as it involved a Leadership Conference in Berlin, Germany. Though typical magnet-sponsored trips involve sightseeing and delighting in foreign foods, this trip taught the tenth and eleventh graders how to problem-solve to alleviate water issues in society.

Though the NC varsity boy’s baseball team (6-3) won against Marietta High School earlier in the week, the North Cobb Christian Eagles (5-0) took the win on Thursday’s game. After gaining the lead in the second inning, the Eagles continued to add to their score with multiple home runs. Country music star Morgan Wallen performed in Atlanta November 10 and 11 to showcase his “One Thing At A Time” album.
