First delay of the school year

The county earned a reputation among students and parents alike for improperly judging conditions, spurred on by their choice to keep kids in school for the 2014 Snowpocalypse; the choice to delay did grant them some good graces, in spite of minor disappointment. “I thought it was probably a responsible decision on Cobb County’s part. I can’t lie, I was hoping for a cancellation tweet, but you know, I’ll take what I can get. I definitely used the extra sleep to refresh. I felt secure in coming to school because I have to drive a long way, so I thought it was a good decision: they did what they had to do,” junior Maggie Glancy said.
