NC takes on hobby horsing

NC announced today that they will be adding hobby horsing to their list of varsity sports they will offer next year. The engaging, competitive and exciting sport of hobby horsing involves the conquering of various obstacles while using stick horses. NC’s student body has since shown extreme enthusiasm for the new sport to the point where the interest form has crashed. April Fools, you fool! XOXO, The Chant

After decades of school spirit, NC’s sports teams face a quick termination. Cobb County marks the first creation of a County sports league for all schools, changing school sports history forever. With this thrilling decision, students throughout the county practice their sport with intensity in hopes of making the unified teams.

Katseye’s growing success has sparked numerous theories about their music containing hidden messages and deeper meanings under its pop appeal. Investigations and studies done by groups such as Harvard claim their songs reference secret ties to Russia and even include encoded elements that attempt to influence the younger generations’ behavior. Though the theories have not been proven yet, the group's growing fame and rumors have turned them into an unsettling mystery.

Faith Allen first gained her strong interest in writing at the age of six. Consumed in her notebook, she let creativity control her hands, creating stories of anything that came to her mind. Later, at 10 years old, she grew entranced by the world of politics, spending most of her time during the pandemic watching CNN and MSNBC. Now a magnet sophomore at NC, she has kicked off her first year at The Chant, putting her talents to good use. Allen is currently involved in NC’s Beta club, Tribal Connections, Model UN, swim team and theater. Outside of school, she participates in Girl Scouts at her local church.
