Hi. I’m Judy Stubblefield; aspiring photojournalist by day, avid Tumblr-er by night. Currently a senior at North Cobb High School, I am the Photo Copy Editor of our school’s online newspaper, The Chant. Throughout all four years of my highschool career, I have been involved in the journalism department and with the backing of fabulous staffs, have been able to win photojournalism awards from the Georgia Scholastic Press Association: All-Georgia Sports Photo (2012-13), All-Georgia Feature Photo (2012-13), and the MVP of GSPA’s Georgia Journalism Academy (2014). I dream to one day travel the world and pursue photojournalism professionally. Though a woman of few words, I believe in speaking the full, journalistic truth and documenting stories that matter.

Cheers!

Escorting his student Cadet Lt. j.g. Lien Nguyen, Commander Joel Reaves USN (ret.) shakes Assistant Principal Joseph Horton’s hand in celebration of her success in ROTC program. “Unfortunately, her parents could not make it to the presentation. When she asked me to escort her in the place of her parents, I was completely honored. Before I said yes, I wanted to make sure it was okay with them first. She has been a part of the program for four years and I was certainly happy to escort her. She makes me proud.”
