In recent years, school has become a major stressor for teenagers around the U.S. School, however, does not represent a sustainable environment for learning due to loads of schoolwork and the people around them. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), produces movies yearly; with epic, action-packed superhero and sci-fi films, the franchise holds an important spot in the hearts of all its fans. However, after the release of “Endgame,” a pivotal moment in the line of films, the original canon storyline closed — leading Marvel to produce lackluster films. While original Marvel movies “The Avengers” and “Iron Man" bombed the box office with massive earnings and shining reviews, newer Marvel films use unoriginal and worn-out ideas and tropes. Ultimately, the lack of creativity turns Marvel movies away from masterpiece status and toward epic failure.

As new technologies rise and scientific discoveries fill up laboratories, updated forms of animal testing emerge, targeting dogs as their main experimental group. Recently, Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University received seven million dollars in funds to test the effect of Rapamycin on a dog’s lifespan and the influence of the drug quickly spread around the U.S. to various medical centers. With the lives of countless dogs in jeopardy through this trial, the benefits of the study do not outweigh the health and safety risks dogs could face through the extensive process of research.
