Fashion Club makes its debut to become a part of the NC club scene. Through its new beginnings, the club already plans innovative ideas to instill itself in the school community. Created by club president senior Ryan Brown, Fashion Club fosters an environment where students can convene to discuss their chic interests and a place to pursue their career paths. Through addressing topics of the fashion industry and inspiration from other NC clubs, the Fashion Club’s new mission focuses on creating a fashion show to shine a light on a growing issue in the creative industry: sustainability.

As fashion trends rise, people recognize the effect of styles, patterns, colors and cuts on their self-perception. The phenomenon of enclothed cognition suggests that clothing items hold power over psychological and physical processes. This sensation received additional attention as researchers, doctors and professors refer back to the subject to justify bodily operations and emotional changes.

Ecologie celebrated their 8 years in business by opening its doors for a sale. Taking 20 percent off every item in the store, the day full of celebration brought customers from all over Kennesaw to enjoy the vintage clothing and sunny dispositions. “Just because you dont love something anymore doesnt mean someone else wont love it,” co-owner Chelsea Marquez said.
