With a new season comes new gear. Starting off the season with new chrome orange helmets, the boys varsity lacrosse team eagerly awaits their first game. Head Coach John Almy hopes that the seniors will take the reins and lead the team to several victories. “I just hope to see growth from last year and see the senior class take the step up and be leaders,” Coach Almy said. The Warriors will play their first game against Wheeler on Wednesday, February 6.

The recent season premiere of the hit show Riverdale came out on Wednesday October 10 with a new storyline emerging from the series. The show focuses on a new supernatural theme distinctive to the suspense from previous seasons. Riverdale releases new episodes featuring drama, romance, and mystery every Wednesday night on the CW.

Today, September 22 marks the start of the Fall equinox. However, that did not stop the sun from beating down on NC, the temperature climbing to a scorching 90 degrees. Senior Diana Martinez said “I’m just ready for the leaves to fall and the temperature to drop so I can bust out the sweaters.”
