Anxiety strikes again
Anxiety among children, & those of high school age specifically, has become a major epidemic in recent years. According to a February 2019 Pew study, 70% of American teenagers consider it (along with depression) a major problem in their communities, an issue compounded among higher achievers. To remedy this, the school district will be showing a short film titled Angst this Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m; afterwards, a panel will take place to further educate attendees on mental health.
