Najalae Griffith, Reporter
Najalae Griffith, a freshman at North Cobb is kind, energetic, and work driven. Griffith was born and raised in Brooklyn, NYC and recently moved to Kennesaw, GA five months ago, where currently she is in her second semester at North Cobb and is now a new member of The Chant. Najalae joined The Chant to enhance her writing skills so one day she can become a successful novelist. When meeting Griffith, she is very shy and timid at first, but the more you talk to her she starts to warm up to you.
Other than doing homework, Griffith is a retired competition cheerleader and she likes to skateboard. She really enjoys Social Studies, as that is her favorite subject in school. Griffith has 3 siblings in total, an older brother and sister, and a younger brother who attends Awtrey Middle school. She plans to attend Spelman University or Howard University to earn a degree in either pediatrics or journalism. Griffith also loves going on long walks with her dog, swimming, and spending time with her friends and family. Najalae is so excited to see what her future holds as her writing career advances.
