Tribal Connections is currently hosting a Grain drive to gather various grain products, such as cereal, bread, and oatmeal, to send off to people in need. The Kennesaw Business Association (KBA), proposed the drive to TC, and its members encourage students to bring sugary and tasteful cereals and grain products to donate to children in need. “I decided to engage in the drive to help kids and families in need. It’s for a good cause and I know that I contributed something to these kids to make them happy,” Rahel Kefetew, head of the drive, said.

From yellow posters to gold T-shirts, students showed their support for Rally Club, an organization that raises awareness for childhood cancer. “Rally is a club that donates money to not only raise awareness for childhood cancer, but also to raise money for the research,” senior Brittany Aguilar said. In the past, the club gradually declined, until recently when senior Cierra Walsh brought it back to life. As a foundation, Rally hopes to promote awareness for childhood cancer through fundraisers and overall support of the community, and through their determination, members will keep the club alive and prospering.
