In response to the economic strain caused by soaring inflation, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has declared a state of emergency and taken decisive action. Kemps executive order temporarily suspends the states excise tax on motor and locomotive fuel, offering direct relief to families. Amidst the extreme summer heat of 2023, numerous Georgia farms find themselves in a sticky situation as unpredictable weather patterns take away their most desired fruit: peaches. Consequently, a majority of the crop did not grow this season for several peach farms; grocery stores, restaurants and resellers now look to other states this year to buy their fuzzy fruits.
