The quarterback achieved an impressive #15 ranking in the state of Georgia and will continue to grow in his next two years at NC.

Singleton, tailed by Walton senior Austin Eldred and junior Cade Thompson, eventually scored multiple touchdowns proving himself once again as an asset to the NC Warrior team.

After a successful Homecoming weekend, an unusually furry guest visited NC. Garnering attention from students and head football Coach Shane Queen, an opossum scurried up the fences located near the football field. On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, this hairy little creature chose the shadiest spot on campus, to watch the personal fitness classes take place. “This is nature at it’s finest. It was a little scary but super cool,” said junior Brendan Koch.

NC sophomore wide receiver Sam Mbake practices his traditional pre-game rituals, while the smoke clears from Cobb EMC Mustang stadium. Mbake finished the night with a receiving touchdown and multiple catches that fueled the Warrior’s fire. Junior quarterback Trevor Lovett and Mbake seem to connect game in and game out, working together to make multiple touchdowns this season.

The Warrior varsity football team continues their rituals by huddling up before introductions and kickoff. After the kickoff, the Warrior offense and defense seemed sluggish, eventually losing to the East Coweta Indians by a 19 point deficit. Despite the negative outcome, the Warrior offense totaled 393 offensive yards, only reaching the end zone 3 times. “We’re better than we played (today). I do know that,” Head Coach Shane Queen said.

Moran, a reliable asset of the Warrior special teams, found himself in the kicking spot multiple times due to the six touchdowns of the Warriors. “Our kids responded [to the rough start of the game]. We don’t like to play from behind, but it’s a learning experience,” said Head Coach Shane Queen.
