NC Warrior tennis team travels to Campbell highschool tonight to take on the Spartans. After a tough loss before winter break, the team eagerly awaits to face off against their opponents hoping to bring home a win. “I can't wait to play tonight, I love playing alongside my teammates and learning from them,” sophomore Lorenzo Alcaron said.

With students from both NC and Georgia Tech coming together to dance for the kids, they raised over $3,000 that will entirely go to CHOA. Through their dancing and fundraising, new friendships were made between high school and college students as they collectively worked towards helping children in need.

From the classroom to the field, the Lady Warriors lacrosse team will celebrate their seniors tonight at their game against Wheeler High School. “The seniors have lead us all very well, they each have a unique style for leadership but know how to revive both teams before all of our games. They pump us up and encourage us to do our best,” sophomore Molly Geraci said. The NC girls lacrosse team will celebrate each senior during their ceremony before their game tonight.

In Mrs. Ellis’ office, a small glass jar full of an unknown amount of Skittles lies. It serves as a raffle for the Warriors for the Kids (WFTK) sub-committee in Tribal Connections. Students simply pay a small fee of $1 to guess the number of Skittles in the jar. Should they guess correctly, they will win the following items: Chick-Fil-A merchandise, gift cards, and a complimentary basket.

Tonight the Warriors basketball team will face off against the North Paulding Wolfpack tonight at home; the girls’ game begins at 6 PM, and the boys play afterwards at 7:30 PM. Senior varsity players Keanu White, Steven Hubert, and Ginji Ozawa excitedly chattering about their upcoming game at the lunch table. Hubert, pictured in the middle, said, “Be there or hear about it.”
